This is something i always have a problem with..taking a day off. I think..really i know it comes from the fear that if i don't run everyday i'll weigh 220 again. Stupid really since you can't gain 90lbs overnight but i'm sure some of you understand. So today i am making myself rest. That means no running and no lifting today. I'm sure my legs will thank me tomorrow.
I'm also happy to report that i've lost 2lbs so i'm down to 132. I'm hoping that by next month i'll be back to around 123-125..my goal is to be 118-120.
My eating is on track..if i can make it past today...the weekends always seem to be my downfall..i'll be doing great

I completely understand what you mean. Even though I haven't gained any weight by not running, I feel like I'm a big slob. I think we're too hard on ourselves!

Congrats on getting back on track! Rest is good for you. As you run again tomorrow, you'll be a lot stronger and your body will thank you for it.
Lord in heaven! You have come so far and you look so great. Your metabolism is not going to freak out on you for taking a rest day. You're a lean, mean machine, and your body will know what to do with that rest time: repair muscle tissue, replace blood cells, and get ready for the next round.
