Love My New Town

Ok..i have to say i was a bit worried when i moved..as i have said before i'm a creature of habit. I have a routine and i stick to it. So when i moved i was fearful i wouldn't find or like the new places i would run. Well the last two days have been wonderful. Last week i just ran a few times in my new neighborhood. It was ok..but they are still building the last few house and i don't like running though construction traffic so i decided yesterday to go run at the local park which goes into the peach orchard. It was beautiful and not that many people. I ran 6.26 miles yesterday and 7.08 miles today. Thankfully i'm getting back on track. My weight has even dropped a few pounds. I was 135 when we moved almost two weeks ago..i'm now down to 130.5. I'm planning about a 7-8 mile run tomorrow.

Saw your running blog link on cool running. I live in Weddington, nc which is about 10 miles from fort mill. Congratulation on your weight loss success. I have been trying to lose a measely 25lbs and it has been up and down even after 1 year. Did you follow a diet plan or just focused on exercise? Also what park did you run at on the 19th? Does it have a jogging path. Thanks for the info

The path is next to a park on highway 161 near the peach stand. I'll check and see what the name of the park is :)
